The first rendering image with the upcoming 2014 Peugeot 308 SW has recently hit the web and it’s providing us with a first look into the new body style of the model.
The new generation of the Peugeot 308 has been officially unveiled a few weeks ago and now the model is being placed into the spotlights once again, with the help of a rendering image, which is giving us a first look into the station wagon version. The new Peugeot 308 generation is wearing the 2014 model year in its name and it should hit the market over the following months in its regular five-door hatchback body style, while the SW is expected later on.
Details on the new Peugeot 308 SW are limited for the moment but as a quick reminder, the 5-door hatchback is riding on the new EMP2 platform, signed by PSA, which will also be used by both Peugeot and Citroen for future C- or D-segment cars. The 308 is getting improved CO2 emissions which can be as low as 85 g/km on most economical variants. The model will be produced at the Sochaux facility, in France and it’s expected to be officially presented to the public during the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show.
