The first rendering with the brand new 2014 Peugeot 308 SW has recently hit the web and it might provide us with a first look into the new body style of the popular hatchback.
After it was officially unveiled just a few days ago, the new generation of the Peugeot 308, which is wearing the 2014 model year in its name, is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the help of a new rendering, which is showing the SW version. The same design has been carried over from the 5-door hatchback and the 308 SW has been made more practical but without losing the original looks.
The new Peugeot 308, in the 5-door hatchback form, is riding on the new EMP2 platform, signed by PSA, which will also be used by both Peugeot and Citroen for future C- or D-segment cars. The 308 is getting improved CO2 emissions which can be as low as 85 g/km on most economical variants. The model will be produced at the Sochaux facility, in France, and it will make its public debut during the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show in September. More details on it will probably be announced close to its debut.
