The British based automaker Land Rover has recently announced its plans to bring the new Range Rover Sport generation to the 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed.
The new generation of the Range Rover Sport may not be such a surprise for the British, or for anyone in Europe or in the U.S., to be more precise, considering the fact that it has been officially unveiled a few months ago, during the 2013 New York Auto Show, but that doesn’t mean that the marketing campaign has to stop. In fact, the 2014 Range Rover Sport will actually make its UK moving debut during the 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed, next week.
The 2014 Range Rover Sport chosen for the event will be equipped with the impressive 5.0 liter supercharged V8 petrol engine, which is allowing it to sprint from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 5.3 seconds, thanks to the 510 HP, sent to the AWD through an eight-speed automatic transmission, signed by ZF. The model in question will be driven up Lord March’s legendary driveway twice each day during the automotive event. The 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed will take place between the 11th and the 14th of July.
