The very first images with the brand new 2014 Range Rover Sport have recently made their way onto the web ahead of the model’s official debut scheduled for the 2013 New York Auto Show.
The new generation of the Range Rover Sport, which is wearing the 2014 model year in its name, is ending up in our news once again and after the British based automaker has announced its public debut for the 2013 New York Auto Show, a couple of images showing the new SUV with absolutely no camouflage on its body are to blame now. First of all we can see the Evoque carried looks and the model just looks like a bigger version of the crossover.
The 2014 Range Rover Sport has an aggressive front fascia, slender headlights, a prominent grille, ventilated front fenders, a tailgate mounted spoiler, a dual exhaust system, plastic body cladding, a sporty lower intake and some other tweaks which are setting it even more apart from the classic 2013 Range Rover. The brand new Range Rover Sport is dropping 300 kg in weight and the engine lineup will be made out of the 3.0L TDV6 with 250 HP (190 kW) and 600 Nm (442 lb-ft) of torque, the 4.4L SDV8 with 335 HP (250 kW) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft), the 3.0L V6 supercharged with 340 HP (253 kW) and the 5.0 liter V8 supercharged with 510 HP (380 kW). More details on the model will be announced in New York, on the 26th of March.
