The first renderings with the 2014 Renault Clio Sedan have made their way onto the web and they might provide us with a first glimpse into a new version of the popular model.
The French based automaker Renault may never develop a sedan version of the new Clio generation so the two images posted below are a good exercise for our imagination. The Renault Clio Sedan in question has been based on images of the new Renault Clio five-door hatchback generation and we must admit that this is one good looking B-segment vehicle. Too bad it will probably never see daylight in this form.
As a quick reminder, the new generation of the Renault Clio has been unveiled back in 2012 and it was also brought to the 2012 Paris Motor Show in September. The model has been inspired by the DeZir Concept and by the Captur and Frendzy prototypes, being the first model to be drawn by the new design team lead by Laurens van der Acker. The 2013 Renault Clio is 3.5 cm longer than its predecessor, 4.5 cm lower and 2.4 cm wider, getting a new three-cylinder 900cc Energy TCe with 90 HP under its hood, a 1.2 liter TCe with 120 HP and a 1.5 liter dCi diesel with 90 HP.
