Skoda has recently released more images with the brand new Octavia Combi 4×4, which will hit the market these months.
The Czech based automaker Skoda will offer the new generation of the Octavia Combi 4×4 with an updated all-wheel drive system, with the latest Haldex 5 clutch. The model has intelligent distribution of torque between the front and the rear axles, and under normal driving conditions, most of the power will be sent to the front axle, but as soon as more torque is required, or the wheels need more grip, power is being distributed between the front axle and the rear one.
The 2014 Skoda Octavia Combi 4×4 is also getting the standard Electronic Differential Lock (EDL) and the model is offered with a choice of three engines, one petrol and two diesels. The 1.8 liter TSI is the most powerful and it’s now producing a total output of 177 HP. The model is followed y the 2.0 liter TDI, with its 147 HP and by the 1.6 liter TDI with 103 HP. All versions get the energy recuperation system as standard and the start/stop technology. No pricing details on the model have been released yet.
