The new generation of the Skoda Octavia Combi has been recently detailed in a video by the French journalists at Caradisiac.
After it was spied a few times on public roads and with the Czech based automaker releasing some official images with it, the 2014 Skoda Octavia Combi is now being placed into the spotlights once again, this time by the automotive journalists at Caradisiac. According to our source, the new generation of the Skoda Octavia Combi has been significantly improved and this can mostly be seen in its interior design, where leg and head space has increased.
The 2014 Skoda Octavia Combi will get engine options such as the 1.4 TSI with 120 HP, the 1.8 TSI with 177 HP and the 1.6 TDI with 109 HP. An RS version of the 2014 Skoda Octavia Combi will be offered later on. This variant will use the same engine found on the new Golf GTI, the 2.0 liter four-cylinder turbo, with just over 200 HP. A manual transmission and a DSG will be offered throughout the range and the Octavia Combi will also get an all-wheel drive option. More details on the model will be announced during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, next week, where the new Octavia Combi will be officially unveiled.
