The new generation of the Skoda Octavia Combi RS has been recently spied while it was being tested in Scandinavia.
Just like with the regular version of the Skoda Octavia Combi, the RS variant hasn’t been camouflaged on its road test in Scandinavia and in fact the Czech based automaker has chosen to modify its headlights and front bumper. The all-new Octavia Combi RS will be larger than its predecessor and the model will get a sportier front fascia, LED fog lights, a honey comb grille, glossy black mirrors, new side skirts, a new rear bumper, a dual exhaust system, five-spoke alloy wheels and more.
The 2014 Skoda Octavia Combi RS will ride on the same MQB platform as the regular version of the model, the same one used on the 2013 Audi A3, on the 2013 Seat Leon and on the brand new VW Golf 7. The Skoda Octavia Combi RS is expected to be powered by the same engine which will be used on the brand new Golf GTI, the 2.0 liter turbocharged, which will generate a total output of more than 200 HP. Additional details on the brand new Skoda Octavia Combi RS are limited for the moment.
