The Combi version of the Skoda Octavia has been recently spied while it was being tested on public roads.
With the new generation of the Skoda Octavia sedan being unveiled just a few months ago, the Czech based automaker is currently working on the Combi version. The 2014 Skoda Octavia Combi is getting a similar exterior design as the sedan but with the ups and downs of an estate variant. The new Octavia Combi will also get the same interior tweaks as the sedan and it will share the same engine range as the third generation of the Octavia sedan.
Engine options will include a selection of petrol and diesel units which will include the 1.4 TSI with 120 HP, the 1.8 TSI with 177 HP and the 1.6 TDI with 109 HP. An RS version of the 2014 Skoda Octavia Combi will be offered later on. This variant will use the same engine found on the new Golf GTI, the 2.0 liter four-cylinder turbo, with just over 200 HP. A manual transmission and a DSG will be offered throughout the range and the Octavia Combi will also get an all-wheel drive option. Additional details on the model will be announced close to its debut.
