The Czech based automaker Skoda has recently released the very first teaser image with the future generation of the Octavia.
After it was spied on the road while it was being tested a few times and caught naked in Chile just a few weeks ago, the new generation of the Skoda Octavia is ending up in our news once again, this time with the Czech based automaker releasing the very first official teaser image with the model. As you can see from the image posted above, the rear left taillight has a similar design to the one used on the Rapid and this design will be eventually adopted by all models in the company’s lineup.
The new generation of the Skoda Octavia will ride on the same platform used by Volkswagen on the new Golf, Leon or A3, and this will allow the model to increase in size in order to make room for the Rapid. The all-new Skoda Octavia is wearing the 2014 model year in its name and this means that it will hit the market in 2013. The new Octavia will be slotted above the Rapid and below the Superb and it will borrow the same engine lineup from the Golf 7. Rumors are saying that the new generation of the Octavia will be unveiled in Geneva, next year.
