The Czech based automaker Skoda has recently released a couple of images with the interior design of the brand new Octavia RS.
After it was unveiled just a few weeks ago, and then announced to make its public debut next week, during the Goodwood Festival of Speed, the brand new Skoda Octavia RS is now being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the help of some official images. The photos posted below are revealing the interior design of the Octavia RS, which is showing the large navigation system, the updated buttons, new dashboard, sports seats and that impressive DSG transmission, amongst others.
The 2014 Skoda Octavia RS will be powered by a 2.0 liter TSI engine, “borrowed” from the new Golf 7 GTI, which will produce a total output of 220 HP (162 kW). Diesel lovers will be able to use the same engine from the Golf 7 GTD, the 2.0 liter TDI, with 184 HP (135 kW). The two units will be mated to either a six-speed manual transmission, in standard, or to a six-speed DSG. The TSI will be able to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 6.8s and to reach a top speed of 248 km/h (154 mph), while the TDI will need 8.1s to reach 100 km/h from a standstill and it will reach 232 km/h (144 mph).
