A few renderings with the 2014 Skoda Octavia Spaceback have recently hit the web and they might reveal what the model will probably look like if it makes it into production.
The Skoda Octavia Spaceback is the Czech based automaker’s idea of a hatchback and the images posted below are renderings of the model, envisioned by theophiluschin.com. The car manufacturer didn’t announce its plans just yet to put the 2014 Skoda Octavia Spaceback into production but if you will see the model in your local Skoda dealer by the end of this year or sometimes in 2014, don’t act surprised.
As a quick reminder, the new generation of the Skoda Octavia has been unveiled a few weeks ago. The model has an updated infotainment system, an attractive interior design, an optional panorama glass roof and more. The new Octavia will get an engine lineup such as the 1.8 liter TSI with 179 HP (132 kW) or the 1.6 liter TDI GreenLine with 110 HP (81 kW), which is burning just 3.4 liters of fuel every 100 km (83.0 mpg UK / 69.1 mpg US) and it’s emitting 89 g/km of CO2. The model is riding on the MQB platform and it’s 90 mm longer and 45 mm wider than the outgoing model and its wheelbase is also 108 mm longer.
