SRT has released more details on the new 2014 Viper Time Attack sports car, announcing a limited production run of just 159 vehicles.
According to the North American based automaker, the 2014 SRT Viper Time Attack is based on the lightest model in the Viper range, the SRT, and it has received some aerodynamic upgrades, some chassis upgrades, better brakes and some other tweaks, like the new spring rates, dampers and sway bars. SRT says that the 2014 Viper Time Attack is also getting the Advanced Aerodynamic Package, which is optional on the standard Viper.
As far as the color goes, the TA Orange will include 93 units, the Bright White 33 units and the Venom Black will become available for 33 units. Interior upgrades will include the Sabelt fabric racing seats, the orange accent stitching on the instrument panel, on the center stack, console, seats, pull brake, shifter boot, steering wheel, shifter head and upper doors. As far as the engine goes, the 2014 SRT Viper Time Attack will take its power from an 8.4 liter naturally aspirated V10 engine, which is producing a total output of 640 HP and it has a peak torque of 813 Nm (600 lb-ft) of torque. The sports car will arrive in dealerships by the end of this year.
