Subaru has recently announced the official price list for the 2014 BRZ sports car in the United States, where the cheapest version of the model starts at 25,595 USD.
According to the Japanese based automaker, the 2014 Subaru BRZ costs at least 25,595 USD over-seas, for the six-speed manual transmission version, while the Limited version, equipped with the same gearbox, costs 27,595 USD. The automatic transmission variant will set you back for 28,695 USD, in the Limited variant. Subaru says that the Limited can easily stand out from a crowd thanks to the body colored trunk spoiler, fog lights, Alcantara inserts in the cabin, dual-zone automatic climate control, heated front seats and more.
“Sales of the Subaru BRZ remain strong and were up 41 percent in June and up 200 percent year-to-date, bolstering record-setting corporate sales for the first half of the year. With sales up 27-percent overall and more than 240,000 units sold through July, Subaru of America is on target for another all-time yearly sales record”, as the carmaker says in its official press release.
The 2014 Subaru BRZ is powered by a 2.0 liter naturally aspirated boxer engine, the same one from the Toyota GT 86 and the Scion FR-S, which is producing a total output of 200 HP (147 kW) and 205 Nm of torque (151 lb-ft). The average fuel consumption, with a manual transmission, stands at 22 / 30 / 25 mpg in city / highway / combined and with the automatic the car returns 25 / 35 / 28 mpg.
