Subaru has recently announced the official price lists for the 2014 Legacy and 2014 Outback in the United States.
According to the Japanese based automaker, the cheapest version of the 2014 Subaru Legacy is now available to its future customers from 20,295 USD, plus the 795 USD destination fee, while the 2014 Outback carries a 23,495 USD price, plus the 825 USD destination charge. If the top of the line version of the Legacy is what you’re looking for, you should know that this costs 29,690 USD, while the Outback is available at 32,920 USD, in the same high-end variant.
When talking about the hearts of the two vehicles, no major changes have been applied, and the base engine remains the 2.5 liter four-cylinder, which is producing a total output of 173 HP, mated to a six-speed manual transmission. If this isn’t enough for you, Subaru is also offering the larger 3.6 liter six-cylinder unit, which is producing a total output of 256 HP, mated to a five-speed automatic transmission. All-wheel drive is available on both models, along with the optional CVT. The Premium trim is now adding the Lane Departure Warning, Pre-Collision Braking and Adaptive Cruise control, incorporated in the EyeSight system.
