The Japanese based automaker Suzuki has received a 5-star safety rating from Euro NCAP, after the new SX4 generation has been crash tested.
After telling you about the the Jeep Cherokee and the Peugeot 2008, which were crash tested by the Euro NCAP during the latest session, time has come to present yet another model which met up close with the side barrier, the side pole, the wall and so on. We’re talking about the new Suzuki SX4 generation, which has also managed to score a full 5-star safety rating, after being crash tested by Euro NCAP.
The only problem spotted in the Adult Occupant protection was seen at the chest and the lower right leg of the driver, in the Frontal Impact, and at the chest and lower left leg of the passenger, in the same category, along with one in the Side Impact Pole, to the chest. These were marked as Adequate, adding 33 points. The Child Occupant protection added another 40 points, 26 points were scored in the Pedestrian Safety and a total of 7 points in the Safety Assist category. The vehicle tested was a Suzuki SX4 1.6 GL+, weighing 1,125 kg.
