The Indian based automaker Tata Motors has recently unveiled an updated version of the Nano, which is promising to be more interesting than its predecessor.
According to the car manufacturer, the 2014 Tata Nano is featuring more than a different model year and, in fact, the company says that the vehicle in question can easily stand out from a crowd thanks to its new rear bumper with sporty mesh inserts, to the chrome trim, the body side graphics, the contrasting roof, the aerodynamic body kit and the unique alloy wheels, amongst others. These changes should be enough to make the model more appealing to its future customers.
The cabin of the 2014 Tata Nano hasn’t been left aside either and this has been fitted with a new center console, a twin glovebox, an updated upholstery, metallic body color accents, Bluetooth / USB / Aux connectivity for the AmphiStream audio system with four speakers and keyless entry. Two different engines are available for the “new” Nano, the 38 HP (28 kW) 624cc petrol unit with 51 Nm (38 lb-ft) of torque, and the 624cc bi-fuel, with 33 HP (24 kW) and 45 Nm of torque (33 lb-ft) when running on CNG. Prices for the model will be set at 1.50 lakhs (2,255 USD / 1,905 EUR) and it will go on sale next month.
