The show is a dedicated and very exclusive car show, and in 2014 enters its second decade of life. The 11th edition is also set on smashing the record 33,000 visitors that attended in 2013 thanks to the Easter weekend.
Among established luxury supercar manufacturers like Pagani, Mazzanti, Porsche, Maserati, Lamborghini, Ferrari and Aston Martin, the exhibit will also feature for the first time a Classic Car category next to the show’s usual luxury section of watches. And, for those who consider the land not enough, there are also new super boats showcased – chief among them being an exclusive two-seater submarine.
Among the many car “jewels” we could also find the Mazzanti automobili Evantra V8 – a “tailor-made” exclusive supercar made only in 5 examples per year – each of them personalized to each client’s individual desires. The two-seater coupe has a carbon fiber carbon composite body structure, while the mechanical “heart” is a 7 liter aluminum V8 that gives 701 hp at 6600 rpm and 848 Nm at 4500 rpm. That’s enough for a 350 km/h top speed and a 3.2 seconds sprint to 100 km/h.
David Brown’s Automotive Speedback GT classic reinterpretation is also present in Monaco, with the founder and CEO, David Brown, proudly announcing the orders are open for the £495,000 GT.
And, in case you own a rare collection of cars, you might want a matching sofa to relax and enjoy them – and thanks to the Luc&Andre company that craving could be over. They offer, for prices ranging from £16,000 to £25,000 smartphone connected sofas made of automobile bits – you can even turn the “car’s” lights and adjust the temperature of the our champagne coolers concealed by the rear spoiler.
