The future generation of the Toyota Corolla has been teased one more time ahead of its public debut scheduled for Thursday.
The 2014 Toyota Corolla is promising to be a completely new car and to place it into the spotlights one more time, the Japanese based automaker has released some new teaser images with it. The new generation of the Toyota Corolla will get a more exciting approach in terms of design compared to the outgoing version and the cabin will receive the Softex leather, satellite navigation system and a push-start button, amongst others.
The new Toyota Corolla will go on sale in four trim levels, the base, the LE, the S and the Eco and the entry-level versions will receive a standard manual six-speed or an optional four-speed automatic transmission, while the higher grades will get an optional CVT, which should improve the fuel efficiency. As for the engine lineup, the new Corolla is rumored to get an updated version of the 1.8 liter four-cylinder engine. Additional details on the 2014 Toyota Corolla are limited for the moment and will be announced next Thursday, once the model will be officially unveiled. The new Corolla is based on the Furia Concept.
