Toyota has released new images with the 2014 Harrier, which will be sold exclusively on the company’s home market.
The 2014 Toyota Harrier is basically a rebadged Lexus RX, with a modified body, which will be sold only in Japan. The model in question has received a modified front fascia, darkened headlights, a glossy transparent plastic grille, Avalon large air intake, a roof mounted spoiler, slender taillights and some other tweaks, which should make the model more appealing to its future customers and help sell it in the Asian country.
The brand new 2014 Toyota Harrier will be offered in an eco friendly version, which is expected to receive a 3.5 liter V6 engine, the same one from the RX, with two electric motors and a Ni-MH battery pack, which are expected to produce a total output of 295 HP (220 kW). The setup will allow the model to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 7.8 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 200 km/h (124 mph). The 2014 Toyota Harrier will hit dealerships this winter. Additional details on the model are limited for the moment and will be announced close to its launch.
