The very first renderings of the new generation VW Golf Plus have recently made their way onto the web and they might provide us with a first look into the final production version.
The German based automaker Volkswagen has already released several versions of the new Golf generation but the only one which remains unannounced is the Golf Plus. The VW Golf Plus, in its new generation, is expected to receive an entirely new body. The model should be 15 cm taller and this will improve the interior space and offer an increased ride height. A BlueMotion and a CNG variant of the new Golf Plus are also being considered.
Those of you waiting for the new generation of the Golf Plus to hit the market should know that the model won’t receive a GTI version and only two-wheel drive will be offered on it. The starting price of the VW Golf Plus, on its local auto market, is expected to stay at approximately 19,000 euros. As for the engine line, this is expected to be carried over from the new generation of the Golf 7. Additional details on the new Golf Plus will probably be announced later on this year.
