The 2014 World Car of the Year finalists have been recently announced by the judges during the 2014 Geneva Motor Show.
We have already met the 2014 European Car of the Year winner, at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, in the “shape” of the new Peugeot 308 generation, and now time has come to talk about an even more prestigious award, the 2014 World Car of the Year. The finalists for this award have been recently announced by the jurors at the Swiss automotive event and you may become surprised, sort of, of their decisions.
The battle for the prestigious 2014 World Car of the Year title will be taken between the new Audi A3, the Mazda 3 and the recently unveiled BMW 4-Series. In the World Luxury Car category, we also have three finalists, the Mercedes-Benz S-Class, the Bentley Flying Spur and the Range Rover Sport. Last, but not least, in the World Performance Car category, three popular and powerful rides will battle for the title, the Ferrari 458 Speciale, the Porsche 911 GT3 and the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. The winners of all these categories will be announced on the 17th of April, during the 2014 New York Auto Show.
