The Japanese based automaker Honda has announced, through the voice of a spokesman, that the 2015 Acura NSX will be more expensive than the Nissan GT-R.
The 2015 Acura NSX is probably one of the most awaited models signed by the company and even if just a couple of years stand between the sports car and its market debut, official details on it are still being kept in the shadows. According to Chris Martin, a Honda spokesman, the carmaker won’t any pricing info about the upcoming NSX but he said that the sports car will be more expensive than the 2013 Nissan GT-R.
This means that the final production version of the 2015 Acura NSX will cost more than 100,000 USD, considering the fact that the 2013 Nissan GT-R is available in the United States from 97,820 USD. The 2015 Acura NSX will reach its production phase for the 2015 model year, meaning that the sports car will hit the market in 2014. The final production version of the Acura NSX, which will also be launched in some markets with Honda badges on its body, will be manufactured in Marysville, Ohio. The model is expected to get a hybrid powertrain, an all-wheel drive system and a mid-engine layout.
