Acura has recently announced its plans to produce the new 2015 NSX in Ohio, at the company’s new Performance Manufacturing Center.
The brand new Acura / Honda NSX is probably one of the most awaited models in the company’s lineup and with the new sports car being just a couple of years away from its future customers, the carmaker is trying to place it into the spotlights once again, by making new announcements. The newest announcement is talking about is production, which will be in the new Performance Manufacturing Center in Ohio, costing about 70 million USD to produce.
The future Acura / Honda NSX will be one of the most interesting models coming from the carmaker and each one will be assembled by a team of around 100 highly skilled engineers, recruited from the current Ohio production facilities. The new Acura NSX is scheduled to go into production in 2015. The model will get a mid-mounted V6 engine and an SH-AWD (Sport Hybrid Super Handling All Wheel Drive) system and two electric motors, mated to a dual-clutch transmission. Additional details on the new Acura / Honda NSX are limited for the moment and will be announced close to its debut.
