Acura has announced its plans to introduce the 2015 TLX next month, during the 2014 NAIAS, in Detroit.
The 2015 Acura TLX is getting ready to make its public debut in January, during the 2014 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit. The announcement has been made by the company in a press release, saying that the all-new model will get “emotional styling” and “all-new advanced powertrains”.
“This all-new Acura TLX is the perfect blend of style and muscle with its elegant, well-proportioned exterior that cloaks the true sport sedan chassis and powertrain beneath. The sporty characteristics that customers found appealing in the TSX are even more pronounced in this aggressive new TLX”, said American Honda Motor Co.’s senior VP, Mike Accavitti.
The new 2015 Acura TLX will become available to its future customers with a choice of two new engines, each of them getting an “advanced” transmission and either two-wheel or all-wheel drive configurations. The model in question will make its way onto the market in the second half of next year. More details on the subject remain unknown for the moment and will be announced during the American event, next month. In other news, the TSX, sedan and wagon, will be discontinued sometimes next year.
