The 2015 Acura TLX will be officially presented to the public next month, during the 2014 New York Auto Show, as the carmaker has officially announced.
Acura will be introducing the new TLX at the 2014 New York Auto Show. The model in question has been previewed by the TLX Concept and it will be fitted with a lot of safety equipment, such as the Lane Departure Warning, the Forward Collision Warning, the Collision Mitigation Braking, the Adaptive Cruise Control with Low-Speed Follow and Blind Spot Indicator along with several other systems.
“The production Acura TLX performance-luxury sedan will make its world debut at the 2014 New York International Auto Show. Designed to compete in the midsize luxury segment, the 2015 Acura TLX will deliver higher levels of luxury refinement and sports-sedan athleticism with exhilarating performance enhanced by next-generation Acura powertrain and dynamic-handling technologies”, says the carmaker in its official press release.
The 2015 Acura TLX will be powered by two different engines. The first one will be a 2.4 liter four-cylinder, which will be mated to an eight-speed dual clutch transmission, while the other one will be a 3.5 liter V6, which will come with a nine-speed automatic gearbox. The larger unit will come with the SH-AWD system, with a new torque vectoring control logic.
