The German based automaker Audi is currently developing an updated version of the Q7 which will make its way onto the market probably by the end of the year or in early 2015.
Audi has put a stop to rumors which were saying that it will produce a new generation of the Q7 soon with the “help” of these spy photos, which are revealing the model in question while it was being tested out, on public roads, in Germany. The images posted below have been provided by our spy photographers and they have been snapped close to the Nurburgring, which suggests that the upcoming set will show the large vehicle on the track.
The 2015 Audi Q7 is actually a new generation of the model and besides becoming more similar to other new vehicles in the company’s lineup, it will also shed a significant weight of up to 400 kg from its body. The front overhang of the model seems to be shorter and we also notice the beefier fenders. The engine lineup will be significantly improved and in its top of the line version, the model is expected to share the unit with the upcoming Bentley SUV. The new-gen Audi Q7 might be unveiled in Paris, this autumn.
