The price of the brand new Audi RS3 Sportback has apparently leaked out over the web as the hot hatch will try to find new owners from a whopping 56, 600 euros.
Buying a hot hatch isn’t what it used to be because the price of such vehicles has hit the roof, mainly because of the many gizmos offered as standard which you wouldn’t really need. The most recent addition of the C-segment of hot hatches is the 2015 Audi RS3 Sportback, which has been officially unveiled just a few days ago. According to the guys from WCF, the model in question will have a starting price of 56,600 euros, which is way more than what the S3 Sportback costs, 40,400 euros.
For the money, you will get the Quattro front grille, the new front and rear bumpers, the rear diffuser, the aluminum side mirror caps, a dual exhaust system, 19-inch alloy wheels reduced ride height, sport tuned suspension system and high performance brakes. Under the hood, the 2015 Audi RS3 Sportback is packing a 2.5 liter five-cylinder petrol engine, which is developing 367 HP (270 kW) and 465 Nm (342 lb-ft) of torque. Power is sent to the Quattro all-wheel drive system through a 7-speed S tronic gearbox. The 0-100km/h (62mph) acceleration takes 4.3 seconds and top speed is electronically limited to 250 km/h (155 mph). This can be raised to 280 km/h (174 mph).
