The new generation of the Audi TT has been recently caught on camera by our spy photographers while it was being tested in Germany.
The second generation of the Audi TT has been in production ever since 2006 and now the German based automaker is getting ready to introduce a replacement for the model. The company may try to keep it into the shadows for the moment but our spy photographers have managed to catch it on camera while it was being tested on public roads, for the first time.
The 2015 Audi TT is expected to get an evolutionary design, which should help it carry on the looks of its predecessor with some tweaks which should get him closer to other models in the range. The car has a sportier appearance and we can clearly see a prominent front grille, the angular headlights, the rakish windscreen, the flared wheel arches and the dual exhaust system.
The engine options in the 2015 Audi TT remain a mystery for the moment but chances are that this will include the 1.8 liter TFSI with 180 HP, the 2.0 liter TFSI with 220 HP and 300 HP, along with a five-cylinder turbocharged unit, with 380 HP, in the TT-RS. The new-gen Audi TT is rumored to ride on the MQB platform, which is used on the new Golf 7, Audi A3, Seat Leon and so on.
