The vehicles have been also fitted with aerodynamic side mirror caps, with ventilated front fenders, with a distinctive rear bumper, with a rear diffuser, a four-tailpipe exhaust system and a set of 21-inch lightweight alloy wheels, covered in Michelin Pilot Super Sport UHP tires.

The same styling is also being continued in the cabin, where the two models are coming with the Merino leather sport seats, with a leather wrapped M steering wheel, a revised instrument cluster, aluminum gearshift paddles, leather wrapped dashboard, aluminum trim, Alcantara roof liner, M-brand door sill plates, embossed headrests, contrast stitching, Harman Kardon audio system, a four-zone climate control and so on.

Power to both models is being provided by the same 4.4 liter twin turbo V8 engine, which is producing a total output of 567 HP (423 kW) and it has a peak torque of 750 Nm (553 lb-ft), being connected to the 8-speed M Steptronic transmission and the M-specific all-wheel drive system. The 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint takes just 4.2 seconds and top speed is electronically limited to 250 km/h (155 mph). Prices for the 2015 BMW X5 M will start from 99,650 USD, over-seas, while for the 2015 BMW X6 M at 103,050 USD. The two models will go on sale in the U.S. next spring.
