The future generation of the BMW X5 has been spied next to the outgoing version of the model and we can clearly see an impressive increase in size.
While getting smaller and smaller engines, cars tend to increase in size these days and this can be seen in every segment. The best example is the VW Golf where in its first generation is the same size as the current Polo. But we’re not here to talk about hatchbacks and this news is about the future generation of the X5. The model in question has been spied once again and this time we can see the outgoing version next to it.
The 2015 BMW X5 F15 is coming with the company’s latest design language and the model has grown in size. The new X5 will get the latest generation of the xDrive all-wheel drive system and some new engine options which will include the 2.0 liter turbo diesel used on the F30 3-Series, along with some other petrol and diesel units. The next BMW X5M is rumored to get a twin-turbocharged V8 gasoline engine. The new BMW X5 will rider on the X for All architecture, which will be used throughout the entire BMW X range, helping the model loose 150 kg in weight. Additional details on the 2015 BMW X5 F15 remain unknown for the moment.
