The new BMW X5 generation is getting ready to give birth to its top of the line model, the X5M.
Our spy photographers have managed to snap the powerful SAV in action while it was being tested out but keep in mind that this is, for the moment, a prototype, so the final product may turn up to be slightly different. The model in question can easily stand out from a crowd thanks to its larger and unique front and rear bumpers, to the quad exhaust outlets, to the larger brakes, to the larger wheels and to some other tweaks which will be applied.
Besides the visual tweaks, the new BMW X5M will also get some specially tuned suspension system, along with the wheel and tire package and, compared to its predecessor, it will save weight. The previous model has 555 HP and 500 lb-ft of torque and this is allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.0 seconds with the M Driver’s Package. The next generation of the BMW X5M will probably make its official debut in October, during the 2014 Paris Motor Show, but no official details have been announced yet.
