Our spy photographers have managed to capture on camera the next BMW X6M while it was being tested out on public roads.
After snapping the new generation of the BMW X5M while it was being tested, our spy photographers have also spotted its sportier version, the new X6M, which will be based on the new generation of the SAV. The model in question is expected to make its debut later than the X5M considering the fact that the new X5 has been unveiled way before the new X6, so chances are we will see it for the first time in early 2015, at the Detroit Motor Show (NAIAS), or even in March, in Geneva.
The upcoming BMW X6M is coming with some minor styling tweaks but it will still be able to stand out from its standard version quite easily. It will get a redesigned front kidney grille, along with new front and rear bumpers. New taillights will be used on the model too, along with some new styling elements. The same 4.4 liter twin turbo V8 engine will be used on the X6M as well as on the X5M, which is currently rated at 547 HP at 6,000 rpm and 680 Nm of torque. More details on the new X6M remain unknown for the moment.
