The images showing the interior design of the new BMW M3 generation have recently hit the web.
The German based automaker BMW may try to keep the new M3 generation into the shadows but, as we all know, things in the automotive media don’t go as planned, especially when you’re working on a car which is so much awaited by the company’s fans, and not only. The car in question is named the M3 and it’s based on the new 3-Series F30 generation and the good part about these images is that they are showing the interior design of the model. This looks sporty and it has a lot of features found on the current E92 M3, but it also has the optional dual-clutch transmission.
The brand new BMW M3 generation will drop the 4.0 liter V8 engine in favor of the new and more powerful 3.0 liter twin turbo inline six-cylinder unit, which should be good for 424 HP and just over 369 lb-ft of torque. Thanks to these figures, the 0 to 62 mph sprint should be made in just 4.3 seconds and top speed will be limited to 155 mph, but without the speed limiter, this will be able to reach 180 mph. The new generation of the BMW M3 is said to make its public debut during the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show, but nothing official has been announced on the subject just yet.
