2015 Cadillac ATS Sedan goes official

The first images with the 2015 Cadillac ATS Sedan have been officially released by the North American based automaker.

Following the leak a few days ago in which the 2015 Cadillac ATS Sedan has been caught filming its first promotional video, the model in question is being placed into the spotlights once more, this time with the help of the first official images, which have been released by the company. The 2015 Cadillac ATS Sedan is not a new generation of the model but a simple facelift which has received a new front fascia and some new colors, such as the Dark Adriatic Blue Metallic and the Crystal White Tricoat.

Changes made to the cabin are minor and they include the trim combinations, the revised upholstery, the Text Message Alerts function, the Siri Eyes Free compatibility, the Teen Driver function which is allowing the owner to set a radio volume limit and a speed warning between 40 and 70 mph, the Cadillac DockSpot, which can charge a smartphone wirelessly and some other tweaks.

The engine options for the 2015 Cadillac ATS will be carried over so expect the 2.5 liter four-cylinder unit, with its 202 HP (151 kW) and 259 Nm (191 lb-ft) of torque, the 2.0 liter four-cylinder turbocharged unit, with 272 HP (203 kW) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque, and the 3.6 liter V6 unit rated at 321 HP (239 kW) and 373 Nm (275 lb-ft) of torque. General Motors hasn’t announced an official price list for the updated ATS but this is expected to be made publically over the next few weeks.
