The new generation of the Cadillac Escalade will have a starting price of 71,695 USD, once the model in question will reach dealerships, over-seas.
The 2015 Cadillac Escalade will be more expensive than the outgoing version, which is priced from 67,970 USD, but this is justified considering the fact that higher grade material has been used on the outside and in the cabin, that there are a lot of active safety gizmos, more security items and more technology. The new Escalade will be offered in three trim levels, the Standard, the Luxury and the Premium and the Luxury package will include everything from the Standard plus the 22-inch wheels.
The Premium version will be adding features like the 9-inch screen in the rear along with an entertainment system, the illuminating door handles or the Driver Assist Package, which will get the automatic front and rear braking, the automatic collision preparation and the full speed sensitive cruise control. As far as the engine goes, all versions of the Cadillac Escalade will be powered by the same 6.2 liter V8 engine, which is producing a total output of 420 HP (313 kW) and it has a peak torque of 623 Nm (460 lb-ft). The unit is mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission.
