The first interior image with the 2015 Cadillac Escalade has been released by the North American based automaker.
The front area of the interior of the new Cadillac Escalade is being shown in a premiere by the carmaker, in what is actually the first image of this kind to hit the web. The photo posted above is revealing the premium appointments, like the leather surfaces which have been hand-stitched, the real wood trim, the up-spec materials and several others which are reminding us of concept cars like the Ciel or the Elmiraj, which have been signed by Cadillac too.
The new generation of the Cadillac Escalade will wear the 2015 model year in its name and it will ride on the K2XX platform, made by General Motors, the same one used on models like the Chevrolet Tahoe, Silverado, Suburban, GMC Sierra or Yukon. Rumors are saying that the model will be powered by a 6.2 liter V8 engine, which is good for 420 HP (313 kW) and 610 Nm of torque (450 lb-ft), mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. All-wheel drive will be optional. The official debut of the 2015 Cadillac Escalade will be made in New York, on the 7th of October.
