Chevrolet has officially released the first details and images with the brand new 2015 City Express, ahead of its public debut scheduled for the 2014 Chicago Auto Show, later on this week.
The 2015 Chevrolet City Express is being placed into the spotlights once again, after the carmaker has announced its public debut for the 2014 Chicago Auto Show, just a few days ago, this time with a photo gallery and some more details, which have been released by the North American based automaker.
“As the newest member of the Chevrolet Express family of vans, the 2015 City Express offers a smaller, more efficient choice for businesses that don’t need the cargo volume or other capabilities of a full-size van. It is an easy-to-maneuver van that makes the most of its compact dimensions with clever features, allowing business owners to maximize its space – and their resources – with a vehicle sized for their needs”, said the GM Fleen and Commercial U.S. vice president, Ed Peper.
The new Chevrolet City Express will be offered in two trim levels, the LS and the LT, and standard features will include the cruise control, the standard remote keyless entry or the rear parking sensors. The technology package, which is available only for the LT, will be adding features like the rearview camera, Bluetooth, Sirius/XM Satellite Radio, navigation system and a 5.8-inch touch screen. The cargo room stands at 122.7 cubic feet and the payload at 1,500 pounds. Power is being provided by a 2.0 liter inline four-cylinder engine, which is good for 131 HP and 139 lb-ft of torque, mated to a CVT. Prices for the model will be announced later on this year.
