The North American based automaker Chevrolet has released the first performance details on the 2015 Chevrolet Colorado and 2015 GMC Canyon.
Even if they have been unveiled earlier this year, the 2015 Chevrolet Colorado and the 2015 GMC Canyon are being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the help of GM, which has released the first performance specs on the two models. According to General Motors, the cheapest versions can be equipped with a 2.5 liter four-cylinder engine, which is producing a total output of 200 HP (149 kW) and 258 Nm (191 lb-ft) of torque.
If this doesn’t seem like enough for you, then you should know that GM will also be offering a 3.6 liter V6 engine, which is good for 305 HP (227 kW) and it has a peak torque of 364 Nm (269 lb-ft). Both units can be connected to a 6-speed automatic transmission, which has been modified, and there is also a 6-speed manual available, but this is available only with RWD on select extended cab models. The 2015 Chevrolet Colorado and the 2015 GMC Canyon will go on sale this fall. Prices will be announced then.
