New renderings of the upcoming 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray ZR1 have recently hit the web and they might provide us with a first look into the final production version of the model.
Rumors on the new generation of the Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 have been around even before the regular version of the model has been unveiled but these days we get to see how the high performance version of the popular sports car might look like. The 2015 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 is rumored to make its way onto the market sometimes next year, but the North American based automaker is currently trying to keep this a secret.
The upcoming 2015 Corvette Stingray ZR1 is expected to use a supercharged version of the LT1 6.2 liter V8 engine, which should increase its power to 675 BHP (503 kW) and even to 700 BHP (522 kW). This is a huge figure compared to the 2014 Corvette Stingray, in its regular version, which is good for 450 HP (336 kW) and 450 lb-ft of torque (609 Nm). Sadly we don’t have any more details on the 2015 Corvette ZR1 for the moment but you can check out the two renderings posted below.
