The first details with the 2015 Chrysler 200 have recently ended up on the web, ahead of the model’s official debut which was scheduled for this month’s 2014 NAIAS, in Detroit.
We have already seen the new Chrysler 200 naked, just a month ago, during a promotional video shoot, but now we have some interesting details on the model in question, which will be officially presented to the public during the 2014 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit. The 2015 Chrysler 200 is looking more attractive than the model it will replace and rumors are saying that the one pictured below is actually the 200 S trim level.
Power to the new Chrysler 200 will be provided by a 2.4 liter TigerShark standard engine, which is producing a total output of 184 HP (137 kW) and it has a peak torque of 234 Nm (173 lb-ft) of torque. There is also a 3.6 liter Pentastar V6 optional unit, which is developing 295 HP (220 kW) and 354 Nm (362 lb-ft). Prices for the new 200 will start at 21,700 USD, without the 995 USD destination charge. More details on the vehicle will be announced during the Detroit Motor Show, next week.
