The North American based automaker Chrysler is planning to pull the wraps off the future Chrysler 200 generation next year, during the 2014 NAIAS.
The announcement on the carmaker introducing the next generation of the Chrysler 200 next year hasn’t been made officially just yet, but according to a recent report, the 2015 Chrysler 200 will be officially presented to the public during the 2014 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit. The 2015 Chrysler 200 is basically the next generation of the popular vehicle and the outgoing version is expected to leave the production line over the following months in order to make room for the new one.
The 2015 Chrysler 200 is expected to be based on a Fiat-derived platform which could come with a brand new nine-speed automatic transmission. The model in question will be the same size as an Audi A4 and it will come in three body styles, a Sedan, a Coupe and a Convertible, with a choice of four- and six-cylinder engines, along with optional all-wheel drive system. Additional details on the new generation of the Chrysler 200 remain unknown for the moment and will be announced close to its debut.
