Citroen has officially pulled the wraps off the new C1 generation as the model in question will be officially presented to the public during the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, next week.
With the new Peugeot 108 being officially unveiled ever since last week, and with the new generation of the Toyota Aygo being announced for the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, time has come for the 2015 Citroen C1 to surface online. The model in question will become available in three- and five-door body style and it will get the “Airscape” model with the roll-back fabric roof too.
When compared to the previous model, the new C1 has a more striking design which is completed by the LED daytime running lights and the by the 3D effect taillights. As far as colors go, a total of eight shades will become available for this model, but initially, a pair of two-tone finished vehicles will be available. The interior design will be bright and it will have a completely new design.
The engine lineup in the new Citroen C1 generation will include the three-cylinder Airdream, with 68 HP, and the 1.2 liter three-cylinder unit, with its 82 HP, which has been rated at 99 g/km of CO2. The model can average 65 mpg UK and it can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 11 seconds. The VTi 68 will be getting a stop/start system and a 5-speed manual transmission. More details on the model will be announced in Geneva.
