Citroen has announced the introduction of the updated C4 in the United Kingdom where the compact hatchback will arrive this April.
The 2015 Citroen C4 is getting ready to be introduced at dealerships across the United Kingdom starting this April. The model in question is basically a facelift which has received the usual upgrades, along with new materials used in the cabin and new Euro 6 compliant engines, which include the two 3-cylinder petrol burners and the three 4-cylinder diesel units, equipped with the optional stop / start technology. Citroen says that the cheapest version of the “new” C4 will become available at dealers nationwide starting from this April and the model will be priced from 14,645 GBP.
The updated C4 will pack a 1.2 liter turbocharged petrol PureTech with 108 HP and 151 lb-ft of torque, connected to a 6-speed manual transmission. In the BlueHDi form, the vehicle will add the 1.6L turbocharged diesel with 98 HP and 118 HP, available at 3,750 and 3,500 rpm, respectively, with torque figures standing in at 187 lb-ft and 221 lb-ft, available at 1,750 rpm in each case. The flagship unit will be the 2.0 liter turbo diesel BlueHDi, with its 147 HP at 4,400 rpm and 272 lb-ft of torque, at 2,000 rpm. Besides the updated units, the 2015 Citroen C4 also has a choice of nine colors, along with three new trim levels, the Touch, the Feel and the Flair, with the entry-level bringing the air conditioning, the cruise control and 16-inch wheels, amongst others.
