The 2015 Citroen DS3 is now available for order in Australia in two body styles, hatchback and cabrio.
Citroen has announced the introduction of the 2015 DS3 in Australia, where the hatchback has a starting price of 33,990 AUD while the cabrio can be yours from 36,590 AUD. The model stands at 3,950 mm long, 1,990 mm wide and 1,480 mm tall, carrying a boot size of 285 liters, a total weight of 1,140 kg (1,165 kg for the cabrio), 60:40 split rear seats, the McPherson suspension system with a flexible transverse beam at the rear, active city brake system which can automatically apply the brakes at speeds up to 31 km/h, 17-inch wheels with 205/45 tires signed by Michelin and several other goodies.
The list of standard features is said to include the electrically heated and folding side mirrors, the electrochromatic rearview mirror, the automatic headlights and rain-sensing wipers, tire pressure monitors, rear parking sensors, the rearview camera, active city brake, LED and xenon headlights with sequential indicators and the 17-inch Aphrodite wheels. The Bluetooth connectivity, along with the satellite navigation system and the 7-inch infotainment screen is also offered as standard. Under its hood, both versions are carrying the same 1.6 liter turbocharged petrol burner, which is good for 121 kW and 240 Nm of torque, enough for a 0 to 100 km/h sprint made in 7.5 seconds, while consuming 5.6 liters of fuel every 100 km. Citroen says that the D style version has been dropped from the lineup.
