The North American based automaker Chevrolet has recently announced the new 2015 Corvette Z06, which will come with an impressive 650 HP, squeezed out of its engine.
The 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 has been officially announced with 650 HP. This basically makes it the most powerful production car ever made by General Motors.
“The LT4 Small Block sets a new benchmark for power and torque at GM. The engine also puts the new Corvette Z06 on par with the most powerful supercars offered in America, while delivering performance with impeccable manners that make it suitable for daily driving”, said the General Motors Powetrain Engineering vice president, Steve Kiefer.
According to the car manufacturer, the 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 will be hitting the market with the LT4 engine, which is producing, in this case, a total output of 650 HP and a peak torque of 650 lb-ft, from the 6.2 liter naturally aspirated unit. This basically means more than the 7.0 liter LS7, which makes the model in question the most powerful production car ever made by General Motors. More details on the model in question will be announced probably over the following months, when it will also go on sale.
