The North American based automaker Dodge has recently released more details on the recently unveiled 2015 Challenger SRT Hellcat.
The brand new 2015 Dodge Challenger Hellcat has new axles, with the rear one standing in at 230 mm. The model is also coming with an asymmetric limited slip differential and it’s riding on 20-inch forged aluminum wheels. These are wrapped in 245/45 Goodyear tires but Pirelli P Zero are also available. The rims are covering the Brembo braking system, with rotors up front and six-piston calipers.
In case you have forgotten, the muscle car is powered by a 6.2 liter HEMI V8, which is sharing, according to the car manufacturer, just 9 percent of its componentry with the 6.4 liter V8 engine. Dodge didn’t release any performance specifications or power details on the model mentioned above but it has said, however, that this will produce more than 600 HP (447 kW). The unit will be apparently connected to either a six-speed manual or an eight-speed automatic transmission. More details on the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat are currently limited for the moment and they might be made public over the following weeks.
