The North American based automaker Dodge has officially announced the official starting price of one of the most impressive muscle cars out there, the 2015 Challenger SRT Hellcat.
After being officially unveiled just a couple of months ago and with the official price list of its cheaper versions already announced, the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat is taking a huge step forward, towards its future customers, with its official starting price, recently announced by the company. According to the car manufacturer, the cheapest version of the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat will start from 59,995 USD, but for what it has to offer, this is actually a bargain.
The updated muscle car is based on the facelifted version of the Challenger, as you probably already know, and it has a large 6.2 liter supercharged V8 engine under its hood. The unit can produce an impressive 707 HP (527 kW) and it has a peak torque of 880 Nm (650 lb-ft), and it can be connected to either a 6-speed manual or an 8-speed automatic transmission. Dodge hasn’t announced any performance specifications on the Challenger SRT Hellcat for the moment but we do know that it can run a quarter mile in 11.2 seconds at a speed of 201 km/h (125 mph), with the Pirelli P Zero stock tires.
