The 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat returns in a Shooting Brake body style which, for now at least, is a simple rendering.
A Shooting Brake version of the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat is probably a good idea, considering the fact that its main competitors, the Camaro and the Mustang, are not offering such variants of their muscle cars. The image posted above represents a rendering which has been signed by X-Tomi Design (FB). Chances are that this will remain a simple drawing as Chrysler has no plans of putting it into production.
Dodge has unveiled the 2015 challenger SRT Hellcat a couple of weeks ago. The model is based on the Challenger facelift and it’s coming with new headlights, power bulge hood, duck bill front splitter, LED taillights, bigger rear spoiler and 20-inch lightweight forged aluminum wheels, wrapped in Pirelli P Zero Nero tires. Power is coming from a 6.2 liter HEMI V8 engine, which is rated at more than 600 HP (447 kW). The unit is connected to a 6-speed manual transmission but it can also be ordered with the 8-speed automatic. The regular Challenger SRT has a 6.4L V8 with 485 HP and 643 Nm of torque.
