Ford has officially introduced the facelifted version of the C-MAX as the model in question will have its world premiere next month, in Paris.
After pulling the wraps off the new generation of the S-MAX, Ford has introduced a facelifted version of its smaller model too, the C-MAX. The model in question has received a different front fascia, LED daytime running lights, the Aston Martin-like front grille, a cleaner rear end, smaller taillights, an updated bumper and different alloy wheels, amongst others.
The interior design of the model is now bringing the SNYC 2 infotainment system, which made its debut on the facelifted version of the Focus, which is coming with an 8-inch touch screen replacing most of the buttons. The noise, vibrations and harshness inside the cabin have been reduced with thicker glass more absorbent seals around the rearview mirror and tailgate, as the company is stating. Besides these, the carmaker has also added the bi-xenon HID headlights with Adaptive Front Lighting System, Active Park Assist, Cross Traffic Alert, Active City Stop, Active Braking and so on.
As far as the engine lineup goes, the 2015 Ford C-MAX is being offered with a brand new 1.5 liter TDCI unit, which is capable of producing a total of 120 HP. Besides this, the 2.0 TDCI is available too, producing either 140 HP or 163 HP. The petrol range includes the 1.0 liter EcoBoost, with its 100 HP or 125 HP, along with the 1.5 liter EcoBoost, generating 150 HP or 180 HP. The facelifted C-MAX, along with the new S-MAX, will be introduced next month, at the 2014 Paris Motor Show.
